About Shelley

I understand how life’s road map can take unexpected twists and turns that require us to pause and recalculate our way forward. I have a passion for helping individuals navigate life changes such as aging, relationship breakdowns, trauma, anxiety, communication issues, depression, faith, self-esteem, youth challenges (16+), anger, and couples’ issues. I use a range of therapeutic modalities, including Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance.

My unique educational background includes a Theatre Arts Diploma from Algonquin College, a BA in Communication from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Conestoga College, and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental, compassionate, and creative environment to support a flexible healing journey. When not in session, I enjoy finding adventures with friends, family, and my favorite four-legged friend, or having my husband taste-test my new food experiments.
